Set the User Defined
Structural Member property defaults

Navigate to the
UserDefinedStructuralMember properties in the Catalog Editor. Click the
Value column for the
Section Name property.

Select a steel section definition from the pop up Structural
Sections dialog.

Pick the desired section from the list, and click OK to apply.

Click
Save on Catalog Editor toolbar.

Refresh the catalog and open the
(Place User
Defined Structural Member) tool.
The defaults
set in the Catalog Editor appear on the Place dialog's Properties.

Repeat the steps to set desired properties a default value.
